When subjecting tothe cases suffering fromthe epididymitis, incomplete ejaculation or frequent ejaculation, decreased neutral alpha-glucosidase level in seminal plasmadecreases.
The neutral alpha-glucosidase, whencombinedwith other detection indicators (such as seminal plasma fructose), may helpperformthe topical diagnosisfor the obstructive site of patients with obstructiveazoospermia.
Theneutral alpha-glucosidase in seminal plasma is one of evaluation indicators of epididymis secretory function, and it is more specific and sensitive comparing comparedwith other evaluation indicators including L-Carnitine and glycerophosphocholine. As the sperm maturation occurs in the epididymis, the decline of epididymis secretory function may make adverse effectsonthe sperm motility and functions.
